The sex shop Peech moves into Mads Nørgaard’s project space GUL for a month, starting Friday April 14. Presenting high-quality sex toys and an extensive event program, Peech puts focus on intimacy and well-being in Læderstræde 14 in the heart of Copenhagen.
Peech’ vision is to change the stigmatization of sex and sex toys and create a tool to talk openly about sex. Moreover, they wish to demystify and rethink the use of sex toys by introducing it as a natural part of everyday life and interior in the bedroom as well as the living room.
“We are very happy to support Peech’ mission which puts the body, sex, gender, and identity on the agenda and broadens the discussion about sex to be about health and well-being, and not guilt and shame. Their event program is both a fun and important way to nuance the perception of sex toys. We hope that as many as possible, regardless of gender, age, and background, want to participate,” says Mads Nørgaard.
Director and co-founder of Peech, Clara Filippa Damgaard Andersen, says about the collaboration: “It’s been our mission from day one to promote sex toys as part of your everyday life. We are really
happy to launch a collaboration in line with our mission. This pop-up is different from our two stores by its more dedicated focus on events and giving us even more time to talk to customers.”
The event program is packed with activities and guests contributing to a safe and secure environment for talking about sex and sex toys. Meet, among others, The Red Van – an NGO fighting for better conditions for street-based sex workers – or participate in Peechy Parties which is a new take on the classic “dildo parties”. You will also be able to buy pizzas from the critically acclaimed Juli Pizzeria or the hyped moon cakes from Gluten Slut, and get your favorite peachy toy perpetuated when tattooist Blaekfang creates stick’n’poke. Together with the strong guest line-up Peech creates an informal, safe, and secure space to discuss and ask all kinds of questions.
Peech pop-up is open from Friday April 14 to Saturday May 13 in Læderstræde 14, Copenhagen. Opening hours are Wednesday to Saturday, 12pm – 7pm.
