We have teamed up with the historic Danish ice cream dairy Hansens to create a brand-new ice pop and a limited edition of our #101 t-shirt.
Dressed in Nørgaard stripes, the new vegan ice pop, Nørgaard Pop, is here to spread summer vibes with flavors of organic redcurrants and aronia berries from Thy in Northern Denmark, topped with a refreshing layer of lemon lemonade. At the same time, we introduce a special edition of the #101 t-shirt in matching berry tones.
Shared Values Come Together
Ice cream and designer clothing may seem like an unusual pair, but these two Danish brands have a lot in common.
“We found a natural collaboration partner in Hansens, which, like us, is a Danish company focused on local production. Hansens’ ice cream is made at their dairy in Jægerspris, while our #101 t-shirt is knitted in Ikast, dyed in Herning, and sewn in Korsør. Our shared ambition to produce in Denmark has now resulted in two new classics – an ice cream and a t-shirt. We are very proud of this collaboration,” says Mads Nørgaard.
With over 100 years of experience in ice cream, Hansens is always on the lookout for new flavors. Tradition and craftsmanship are also what unite these two brands in this otherwise unconventional partnership.
“We share a passion for traditional craftsmanship but also a hunger for innovation. We love to experiment with ice cream, and it’s been an exciting process to develop the flavors of Nørgaard Pop, which combines Danish summer berries with a tangy twist – a flavor that never goes out of style,” says Anders Eibye Hansen.
Free Ice Cream in Copenhagen and Aarhus
On Thursday, March 27, at 3:00 PM, visitors to Nørgaard paa Strøget in Copenhagen and Mads Nørgaard - Copenhagen in Aarhus can be the first to taste the new Nørgaard Pop from Hansens. In addition to free ice cream, the custom-made #101 t-shirt, produced in a limited edition, will be available in Mads Nørgaard - Copenhagen’s physical stores and online.
