Come close to a very special upcycling project as we team up with department store Salling in Aarhus (DK) and entrepreneur Social Craft to establish a sewing room in the window of Salling. From start to finish you’ll discover a live production of the classic Mads Nørgaard – Copenhagen totebag, Athene net, produced 100% of leftover fabrics. The bags produced in the window are limited edition and will be available in Salling from today.
The project is part of Salling’s focus on responsible fashion in connection with their annual Salling Future Friendly Fashion Award.
“We are very proud to take part in such a creative and informative project, exposing upcycled processes for everyone to explore in the window of Salling. We can’t wait to see the production live in a new, unusual setting.” – Mads Nørgaard
Mads Nørgaard – Copenhagen Athene Net and Jyron Patch Coat are both made of 100% leftover fabrics.
