Denmark produces way too much waste. In fact every Dane produces 845 kilos of waste every year which makes Denmark the country in the EU that produces the most waste per inhabitant. Several hundreds of tons of garbage ends in nature every year.
A lot of people support the Waste Collection Campaign 2022 that this year takes place in week 13 – from the 28th of March to the 3rd of April.
This year The Danish Society for Nature Conservation beat the record with almost 220.000 signed up.
At Mads Nørgaard – Copenhagen we have together with Rudolph Care taken a day out of the calendar to dust of garden gloves and garbage bags and in each others company vacuum clean the streets and alleys, bicycle paths, train stations and parks for waste.
